Someone just got me a week in the Cascades Sections. One question.........are you able to request a non-smoking villa? Do they take such requests? Thanks so much!!!!!

Try calling 1-800-vistana, they should be able to answer that questions pretty easily. Let us know, OK?

We stayed there a few years back. No nonsmoking units, and we have a DS with severe asthma. We took a deep breath, and had no problems. I used diamond lane advance checkin and requested a unit with no smoking odor, and that they deoderize the fabric and special clean it before we moved in. I don't know if they did or not, but we had no problems--and any stay in a smoked-in room is an automatic trip to the ER.

I agree with Erinch---request they deodorize your villa based on the health concerns you mentioned. I've never had a problem with smoke smells at Vistana and I've stayed there about 7 times. Completing the Diamond Lane form within 2-3 weeks of your arrival should give them the head's up. You could also fax them if you wanted to back that up---their fax # 407-239-3111.

Vistana always trie s to accommodate special requests whenever they can...
