Is there anything I need to be aware of in the rides/ shows (flashing lights ETC)

Nothing is set in stone yet, it's just a bucket list item that I'm hoping to tick off soon.

Hi, Gina - :welcome: to the DIS!

While I can't speak specifically to epilepsy, there are definitely some places where you will encounter flashing lights. Most of the time they are not super-bright, however there are some photo flashes on dark rides that might be jarring (like Pirates of the Caribbean). You can find some guides that tell you where the cameras are (on POTC it will be early in the ride near the talking skull). Someone else might be able to get more specific about other attractions. Attractions may be marked with signage indicating the use of strobing lights. I do know that overall WDW does a great job of being accessible and they take matters of guest health and safety very seriously. Hopefully you will be able to plan and enjoy a great trip!

Hello! You may want to edit the title of this thread, it's a little confusing. I now understand what you are trying to say, but I think you will get more responses if you space out the words (looks like a typo). I opened the thread to read it because I was wondering where the Visitando park was!

I would recommend visiting Guest Relations at the parks. The answer(s) to your question depend(s) on what your specific triggers are.

If you visit the Accessibility at Walt Disney World page, you will find maps for Guests with disabilities (scroll down to Tools & Resources, then Theme Park Guide Maps for Guests with Disabilities). I was thinking specifically flashing lights, and all it says is that various photosensitive effects are used extensively. No matter which park you visit first, they should be able to help you for all four parks.

If you don’t want to visit Guest Relations, a cast member is stationed at each attraction entrance. You can let them know your triggers and ask if there are any of those triggers in the attraction.

Hope that helps! 😊
