Whats the difference in them? Are they 2 separate locations?
Beside Skyauction, is there another way to book it?

I've heard such great things about this place I'm looking into staying here in July.

They are two seperate resorts. I have stayed at V.V. 5 times and love it. It is only 5 years old so there are really no run down sections. I am staying at Vistana Resort this summer b/c my husband got a good deal on Skyauction but it is kind of a game of chance since some of the sections at this resort are older and not as nice. If I had my choice and money was not a factor I would always stay at Vistana Village. I do not like the chance that I might get stuck in an older more run down suite.

They are both owned by Starwood International part of Sheraton. All I can say is I never had a bad time at Vistana Village. The jury is still out at Vistana Resort since I have to keep my fingers crossed for the better section.

we have stayed at both.. Just got back from VV on Sunday.

Vistana - we stayed in the older section.. and i really really didnt like it.
However I saw the newer section rooms and they were great.

Vistana Villages is a smaller resort which I personally prefer. we stayed in Building 1 which I am assuming is the oldest building? Its the closest to the pool.

it was very clean, a little cluttered for my preference, but it was nice. Well equiped. We had a two bed apartment (no lock off) - with a king in the master suite, and two doubles in the other room. The apartment has everything you can imagine you might need.

I liked it, and we would go back..but never go back to Vistana - I would never chance being in the older section again. no way!

skyauction will definitely have cheaper prices

that say

www.tug2.net - not only look at the classifed ads - but in the BBS section (you must register - not join - just register) - there is also a section rental/want ads for 45 days or less. You can post an ad here if you can't find what you want in the other places.

I have - but it is like the HGVC or the Marriott - not offend at all - and most of the time it is a last minute trip - you would need to leave in 10 days or less.

Now if just need more vacation time.... ::MickeyMo

Also I think VV is more convenient, location-wise, to Sea World or Uni. While the main Vistana is very close to WDW.
