Vistana experts... couple of ??

We will be checking in on a Sat. (8/28) and we are trading through II. I'm trying to avoid Courts section. I have an option on a 2 bedroom sleeps six or sleeps 8 and I'm not sure which one would get me into a better section. Also, my sister will be reserving a one bedroom for the same check in day. Are the one bedrooms in all sections? Thanks for any info anyone can give me.

Traded in January through II. We stayed in the Palms section. It had older furnishings but the room was large and clean. It was a two bedroom/ two bathroom unit. We liked it enough. Was it the nicest timeshare? No. Was it the worst timeshare? No. If you don't spend a lot of time in the room, nothing is wrong with the unit. We spent a lot of time at MK, the outlets, and the pool. It suit our needs just fine.

One bedroom villas are in either Lakes or Cascades which I believe are the two newest phases at Vistana Resorts. That 2 bedroom sleeps six villa is in Courts (Falls also has sleeps six villas but those have a Sunday check in).

Here are the phases by check in day...
Friday: Cascades, Fountains I, Fountains II, Lakes, Palms, Spas, Springs
Saturday: Cascades, Courts, Fountains I, Fountains II, Lakes, Palms, Springs
Sunday: Cascades, Falls, Fountains I, Fountains II, Lakes, Palms, Springs

Thanks so much Dick, that was exactly the info I was looking for. We stayed there several years ago and really enjoyed it. We were back in Fountains 2. Not the most updated unit but loved that area. I just couldn't remember the whole days of the week thing.

I am not an expert at all, but I checked into a 1 bdrm today (booked through hotwire), and I asked for a renovated room at check in. The person at the reception spent several minutes on the phone and finally told us that we are in a renovated room at in the lakes. The room is very nice - clean, new, fairly luxurious. The Sheraton agent did tell me that the renovated rooms are nicer when I asked. I also made a Diamond Lane request for a renovated room a few weeks ago, but I'm not sure if this made a difference or not. Good luck..

Lakes is beautiful; you will love it. We were just there in January, and the renovations are fantastic.
