My wife and I just purchased and have our 1st trip planned for BLT . The question I have is that we have family going at the same time and staying at POP. Is there a rule, as to whether we can have them come to BLT's pool or roof deck to watch the fireworks. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tony

From what i've read, only those staying with a reservation at BLT are able to use the pool and go to the roof deck to see the fireworks. Sorry :sad2:

To acces the roof, you have to be a guest staying at BLT on points or cash booked through MS, they ask everybody for a room key. Use of the pools is for guest of that resort is Disney's offical policy.

Each Guest going to the TOTW must show a valid DVC room key for BLT to access the private elevator.

This is taken from the DVC Member site:

Top of the World Lounge
Top of the World Lounge is a 77-seat full-service bar offering beverages and light appetizers, and is located on the 16th floor of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Next to the lounge is an observation deck offering unparalleled views of Magic Kingdom® Park. The regular operating hours for the lounge and deck are from 5:00 p.m.-midnight daily (operating hours, access guidelines, and menu are subject to change without notice).

Due to anticipated high demand for this location, access is available only to Disney Vacation Club Members who are staying at Bay Lake Tower using their Membership (Vacation Points or cash), guests staying in the room with that Member, and guests who are staying in a room reserved by a DVC Member with Vacation Points. Access is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bay Cove Pool
The planned zero-depth-entry pool overlooks beautiful Bay Lake and features a distinctive water slide, a shallow pool designed especially for younger children, and a separate, relaxing whirlpool spa. Bay Cove Pool is available only to Members and non-Members who are staying at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

You could, however, join them at their pool as long as pool hopping isn't blacked out. And all of you could watch the fireworks from the 4th floor roof/patio area on the Contemporary Resort.
