Visiting TDL resorts hotels

When we were at WDW, we spend a day visiting the different themed resorts/hotel.
We were just planning to go on the monorail, but is it worth while jumping off at the hotels to take a look ?

We thought it was. It was just fun to see what they looked like. If you go to the MiraCosta don’t go through the park to get into the hotel. They told us we had to be checking in to go in there. I believe you have to go through from the outside. We were already in the park that day so that’s why we tried going in through that door

We also enjoyed just riding the monorail around. We rode it around the entire loop one day without getting off because we got to sit in the front
