visiting other resorts?

i know that you can only use the pool(s) at your own resort, but what about the playareas? i plan on going to one of other resorts for a dinner and maybe after look around. is my daughter aloud to go play with the kids there in the playground? Does anyone know the answer to this? i would hate to take my DD to a resort for a meal and try and tell her she cannot play at that resorts playground with other children. anyone with kids will know what i am talking about. can anyone help me with this ???

I've never seen or heard of anyone checking for ID in the resort play areas. I can't imagine anyone making a big deal about that... This is jmho but I don't think you need to worry about it. Hope you have a great time!

Just be considerate. If the thing is mobbed already, concede the space. Otherwise have a grand old time!

The playgrounds are not usually as crowded as the pool area from what I have noticed. I would not think it would be a problem.

We love to go and eat at and walk around the other resorts. Each of them is so different.

We've started to do this on the last two trips. In July we went over to check out CBR (loved it) and in January we checked out POP (kids loved it). The kids did play on the POP playground (no other kids were there). When we went to see CBR we had been at Typhoon Lagoon all day. Kids still had there bathing suits on. We walked all around the resort (it is huge) and it was hot. I have to admit I let the kids take a quick dip at one of the quiet pools (almost empty). DH and I did not go in the water and we only let the kids get wet and play for 5 minutes. Technically I guess we pool hopped but we were so far away from the food court or air conditioning I just had to let them get wet!
