Visiting on Thanksgiving?

Has anyone ever done this? I would assume the crowds would be more manageable then at Disney World.

How about the whole week attendance in general?

As with any holiday the parks are busy that whole weekend...Universal, Disney and Sea World. I don't know if Universal is any more busy than Disney but it's still going to be very busy that weekend regardless.

We usually go down to Universal for T-day. We come the week before and leave usually black Friday or Saturday. It has been my experience that Universal is not too busy until the day after Thanksgiving and the weekend that follows. Disney is usually very crowded the day before Thanksgiving through to the weekend after.

When I went last year it was not crowded on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving but it was crowded that weekend. Thank the lord for hotel room keys.
