we decided to add a day to visit the Mission San Juan Capistrano and the beach since my daughter will be studying California history in 4th grade. Looking at laguna hills lodge or Dana point. Don't want freeway noise, do want easy access to freeway back to Anaheim (drive on Sunday afternoon).
Booking a month away and prices are high. Just want basic and clean. Laguna hills lodge is $106 and Dana point inn is $150. Any thoughts?

Those are both really good prices for the area. I'd personally pick Dana Point as you'd probably have an ocean view (I think you're talking about the Best Western Dana Point Inn?) and I like that locations better.
