Visiting May 24-29. Crowds and weather??

This is the week leading up to Memorial Day. What does anyone that has been during this time know about how busy the parks are? Also, how is the weather during this time of the year? We like hot weather but hopefully it won't rain everyday. Do park hours change from the schedule and stay open later during this time? We are starting to get the fever for our trip.

I was there that week in 2014. I don't recall crowds being large but my friends and I are pretty laid back, we've been there many times and don't do all day commando. I do remember it was very hot but not much rain. We did parts of the 24 hour day on Friday, the first 5 hours and the last 5 hours with rest and DHS in between.

It's going to be mostly hot. the rain is hit and miss-- could be afternoon thunderstorms, could be not. depending on the weather.... lol.
It gets more crowded towards the weekend, but not terrible. We go this week every year-- it's before most of the schools let out.

Two years ago, my wifes aunt, grandmother, and grandfather all got heat stroke but on different days... and the gparents live in ft myers...
