Considering catching a “headliner” concert next year via a mini trip, would combine with a visit to WDW.

Scratching my head as to logistics going on comments I’m reading online. was hoping either a local or one who has attended a large event at Camping World could chime in here with help.

It’s been decades since last in that area by Camping World, was a bit daunting then TBH. Appears it just may have gotten a bit sketchier over the years. Transport & parking to the stadium will be a major consideration for us before booking this trip.

Ride share there appears to be a nightmare as to the staging options for drop off & pick up (a high school, then you walk)...not to mention the inevitable surge pricing

Did see somebody mention the following option here a few years ago, no idea if realistic or not:

“the stadium is about a half-mile walk from a Sunrail station, and they do keep the number of trains up with that in mind.

Could leave Disney and park at or rideshare to the Tupperware station, then take train to the game. Would take longer to be sure, but wouldn't have to deal with surge pricing or traffic leaving the stadium.”

Rental car Parking seems to be most viable for us. Would be prepared to leave WDW a good 3 - 4+ hours early to try to avoid traffic. It’s the drive back late at night that has me somewhat concerned.

i’m seeing prepaid parking still available on the Ticketmaster website. Figure it’s of the take one’s time leaving stadium, then wait a hour+ for traffic to somewhat disperse sort of thing there. :scratchinThe direct opposite of what we do locally when we park in lot directly across street from venue.

Not sure if either lots would be advantageous over the other. Since not familiar with area, decidedly not comfortable with idea of searching for a spot the day of there.

yes - there are not great options for the stadium for events. If you buy pre-paid, you have a guaranteed place to park but the traffic post-events is complicated - they block off a lot of ways to access the highways and force one-way traffic to a few access points. We typically park in a make-shift lot in people's yards to ensure the easiest access to get back on SR 408. There are a few pop up lots across the street from Lot E that we like, but from your options either 5 or 7 will work fine. I would not walk to the stadium from the downtown Orlando lots or SunRail if you are not familiar with the area, unless the event you are referring to is a daytime event like a college bowl game. It is plenty safe to walk from these lots to and from the stadium for concerts and stuff - there are so many people that it is pretty much just follow the hoards to and from.

The walk to and from downtown is not awful, but they also run buses back and forth. That said, I’d do one of the prepaid lots so you can get closer.

Ok thanks, it will be dark when concert is over. will factor in that lot price and buy soon if going.

Ugh didn’t know they’d rearrange traffic patterns. will need to figure that out via surface street way to get there. We avoid I4 at all costs Lol
