Visiting Aulani Lobby

We are going to Waikiki in April and going to the Paradise Cove Luau while we're there. We were wondering if we can walk over to Aulani and look in the lobby just to see if we might one day want to stay there for a visit. We would not want to do a room visit or discuss DVC.

This is one thing we do in a lot of the hotels in the Waikiki area, see how beautiful the hotel lobbies are decorated.

Yes, absolutely. You can walk around the lobby, visit the gift store, go to the beach area, and dine at the restaurants. Parking is only 30 minutes for free, after that it is paid.

The lobby gets pretty packed with people who get there early and are waiting for check in or who are leaving and waiting around after check out….. I’d try to go outside of the 11am to 4pm window.

We stay at the MVC down the beach from Aulani and make the Mickey Bar walk to Aulani every day. We've never been questioned.

The walk from Paradise Cove luau is about 5 minutes.

This is the first time we've flown since 2009 to WDW. Before that was 2007 to Honolulu. I've heard flying is so different since then. Long flights from Toronto Pearson Airport but will be well worth it once we land. 19 days and counting down
