We just made a last minute decision to visit this Thursday-Saturday with our 12 and 14 year old kids. Touring plans shows level 3,3 crowds on Thursday, level 7,7 on Friday, and level 6,4 on Saturday. We have 3 day park hoppers and will probably use our Magic Morning on Saturday. Park hours are long each day, and we'll take a break mid-day at the hotel every day.

I can't decide when to visit each park. How would you divide your time between the parks? Also, has anyone been to see Frozen since it's been off the FastPass system? Is it hard to get in? How early do you think we need to line up? We don't care about getting good seats.

Thanks for any advice!

I would do rope drop at DCA on Thursday and DL on Friday. Then after the first hour or so, start monitoring wait times and fast pass return times and hop between the two parks. I would expect some decent crowds given the holiday on Friday and race this weekend.

We saw Frozen last Thursday at the 4:00 pm show. We lined up about 3:25/3:30 and ended up with great seats in the Mezzanine. Orchestra seating was also available when we walked up. I would probably line up a little earlier this week.

I don't think I would trust those crowd ratings at all. It's the first weekend of Christmas, it's a half-marathon weekend and it's Veteran's Day on Friday. We're anticipating pretty high crowds. Thursday shouldn't be too bad, we'll be getting there to go to the race expo in the morning and then to the parks. Lots of runners will be doing the same. The mornings during the weekend should be good as racers will be getting showered and eating after their runs but will head to the parks after that. Probably be a little less crowded at night since the races start at 5:30 so everyone will need to get to sleep early.

We went last weekend (specifically to avoid this coming weekend) and TP predictions were pretty accurate. I would not expect them to be accurate this weekend, with Veterans Day/marathon/opening of holiday season. I was given the advice to avoid the park with MM if I didn't have it, and even though it kind of messed up my plans I'm glad I did. I guess I've never run into that before or noticed, but I think it made a big difference in being efficient in morning hours when not as many people are there.
