I've just received a bundle of Florida info and amongst it was an A4 sheet with info about using visa waiver scheme. I have no qualms that we qualify for Visa free travel but it did state that our first night's address had to match the destination address our airline had for us - but we are doing a fly-drive so Virgin do not have our destination address. Is this going to be a problem?

It isn't a problem. Just put the address of the hotel you are staying in for your first night.

Sorry my question wasn't too clear. I'm not staying at a hotel as we've rented a villa. The address on the form isn't worrying me but the letter we received stated that the address on the form might be checked by immigration against the info the airline send ahead to check that they match.
In our case the info won't match as Virgin don't have an address for us.

We always stay at a villa too. We just put the villa address on the form. The airline (or travel agent) do sometimes ask for this information ahead but sometimes not. If they ask we give it to them. We've never had any problems either way.
As the address is clearly not a hotel immigration do sometimes ask 'is this a rental home?' to which we say yes and they seem fine with that.

I don't understand how an airline is supposed to have an address for where you are staying if you've not booked any accomodation with them!!!!

Don't worry about it Libby. Put the full address of the villa down. That's what I've always done.

Even if you hadn't booked any accommodation before you got there, for people on fly-drive the airline / cabin steward should give you an address to put on the forms when they dish them out on the flight.

Ocky :goodvibes

My understanding is that if you're doing a fly-drive, the airline or tour operator will advise you to use their address in Orlando. HTH.
