Visa discount - what to expect?

We booked a package for the first time, and have read that discounts are occasionally offered for Disney VISA card holders. We are booked through AAA (which gives us a 20% room discount on the package) for December 14-19. What can I expect if they release a VISA discount for that time. Will it be better than the 20% room discount I might have to give up?

We have the Disney Visa

In my experience we've only gotten a couple of specials from them and its usually the free dining... Can't think of any others. They notify us of the upcoming sale and give us an extra day or two before it is released to the public.

I highly doubt that you will receive ANY offers from Disney or Visa for the time your going....right before Christmas. Don't get your hopes up, sorry.

I can't remember the Disney Visa offering anything that was not released to the public 3-4 days later. I think the Value of the disney visa is being able to book prior to the general public and the 0% financing.

Laugh at me if you must, but I actually have a spreadsheet with some of last years offers in it.

The only thing I can find in my notes around that time period was an offer released to Visa holders for the following dates: 10/21/07-11/3/07, 11/11/07-11/17/07, 12/09/07 - 12/15/07 It was a promotion based on adult double occupancy, and was offered at the Saratoga Springs Resort. A 5 night/6 day stay with a base ticket was $1398 for two people, and also came with a $120 dining card. The only thing I can't find in my notes is when the released it. Hope that's helpful!
