Hi,

I don't know if this has been asked before but I am so confused. We go to Florida in July and I'm not sure weather we need visas or not. My Dh and I each have a ten year passport that runs out in 2010 and the kids passports were renewed in March 2006. Last time we visited Florida was in 2001 and we just filled in a form on the plane.

Would some kind person please explain in simple terms what the procedure is these days.

Thank you in advance, Lesley.:thumbsup2

You still just need to complete the Visa Waiver forms on the plane, Lesley. Your passports need to be machine readable and must have at least 6 months left to run after the date you're due to return to the UK.

Thanks for the quick reply Debbie. I knew you good people on the DIS would have the answers.
I presume they are machine readable, they have lots of little letters and numbers on the passport photo page, lol.
I started to panic because yesterday I read somewhere that since October 2006 there were new rules on visas and that I might have to apply to the US embassy. Sorry to sound a bit dumb but its along time since we last visited the US and things change.
