Visa Code at Deluxes during value season?

I was wondering if anyone had any luck getting a great discount at deluxes during value season. Everything I've been reading indicates a discount from 20% to 25%. However, I was given 3 different price quotes for CR and Poly during value season and they came out to a flat $40.50 of a nightly rate. And that is less than 15%. Don't get me wrong, I am happy with what I can get, but I was just curious about other discounts at deluxes during value season.

We are also staying at CR (garden view) for 6 nights, Nov. 29- Dec. 5. Our discount was exactly $240, so $40/night. Not nearly as good as a lot of the discounts I've been reading about, but it pays for the rental car!!!

Thanks, I guess our discount is along the same lines. We are also staying at CR garden wings, but will be there after you, 12/9-12/15,
