Visa, chip ,pin numbers?

Hi there.
Just wondering but, we visit WDW in Feb 2005 and I have no idea what my visa chip / pin numbers are!
Will this matter or should I request updates before we go?
Basically, we don't use the visa cards in the UK and have no idea of the pin numbers. Will we be required to put them into an automatyed system in the US or are we alright to just 'bumble along' ?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Ooohhhh ... I'm in the same boat - except I do know my credit card and cash card numbers. Best bet, just to be on the safe side, is to get in touch with your bank / CC company ASAP and get them to either verify the number or get them to send you a new one before you go. Best to avoid embarassing moments in stores etc!

Just contact the companies involved, I am sure they will be able to sort you out I have trouble keeping track of all the bloomin numbers !

I don't think that it will matter as AFAIK the american banking system cannot read the chip anyway, so you will swipe the card

I've changed the PIN on all my cards to the same number - makes life easier

We've used chip and pin in the US for a couple of years now - I think we first came across it in WalMart!

I'd find out your numbers now to save any hassle. If you don't need them there you'll need them here soon, as CustardTart says

Just got back and were able to use our old-fashioned sign-on-the-line Mastercard in Goodings at Crossroads and at Winn Dixie. We were all prepared with passports and newly learnt pin number, and they weren't needed
