BC was only 15% discount for our dates, Poly for our split stay was 25%, but I was definitely hoping for more for the BC.

Oh well, just going to cross my fingers the AP discount is better :)

Same here, hoping for a better AP deal. Or I guess even Orbitz once they've loaded in the Disney discounts, plus an Orbitz code.

I'm disappointed because the exact resorts I'm looking at are all 15%....GF, BC, CR, AKL CL. For now, I have to book something different to get a better deal.

I can't do the full research until the website releases discounts Monday (see last year's results here http://www.disboards.com/threads/stay-play-dine-calculation.3339097/) HOWEVER...my rough calculation based on pricing out 4 different combinations at moderate resorts this evening has come to this:

40% OFF Dining
FULL PRICE Tickets
$13 OFF per Night

Again - I'm only seeing this for moderate resorts and the sample size is VERY small. Last year when doing the calculation I priced out 50 or more combinations of resorts, adult/kid mixes, ticket lengths, dates, etc.

Just booked Fort Wilderness Cabin room only reservation with Disney Visa promo. Sun-Thur's $247 nite, Fri-Sat $334. Disappointed in the rate. The phone call was very frustrating too--- the customer service rep kept getting information wrong. I thought she was just new at first, but I was very clear at the onset of the call what I wanted. She tried to charge me full price at first. I asked for a breakdown of the rate, and reminded her that I had the discount code. Then she told me payment would be due in full a month before the stay. I made it clear I wanted a room only reservation, no package. Finally got it clarified that only one night deposit was required and could be refunded if reservation is cancelled 5 days prior to stay. But she was very close to losing the reservation entirely.

We currently have our vacation book in March and wanted to add this discount but I dont have my Disney Visa with me right now. Is it needed to add the discount?

I had my card ready to reference, but I didn't need it. Probably because it's already on file for my account/reservation.

Good luck!

Just called and got 15% off GF lagoon view in Jan on a existing reservation.

She asked me for my Disney Visa card number even though I used it for my deposit on the existing reservation and they have it on file. I only read off the number and not the expiration date so I think she was checking to make sure I had one.

I am surprised by the discount as well.

Maybe I should look at a different resort?? I need to think it through.

Well I went ahead and called in without my card on hand or on file. I was still able to get the VISA discount at CBR two rooms with a total of $900.00 discount (450 per room). I think she said it was a 20% room discount on weekdays and 0% weekends. I took it and will wait to see if better deals pop up, would love free dining but not holding my breathe..

So we are going in November this year (50 days, yay!) I'm considering doing the BB offer, which from what I'm hearing is probably going to be a room only discount that month. Would the BB offer be better than this PSD visa offer for 2016? Thanks!

Really hard to say. It depends on # of guests, breakdown of adults vs. children, what resort level, etc. In your situation you could just book the current offer and pay the deposit. Then if the BB is a better deal just cancel and get a refund.

yikes, I hope the rates are better with a bounceback. I'm hoping for at least 30% off a deluxe. :worship:

Same here...booked GF with the 15% but I'm pretty sickened by the cost so I'm going to reconsider on Monday when we can play around with dates and resorts online. I might have to settle with a split stay.

fyi

I had GF reserved but I did not like the 15% discount so I changed to Poly club level and got the 25% discount. It was less expensive to stay club level at the Poly than lagoon view at GF. I have never stayed club level so that will be fun. And I will spend less money eating out. Only downside is that the quiet pool will be closed but that is not a big deal for me.

How do you see the Disney Chase offers? I just got my card and would like to know if they normally get emailed or if I have to check a certain website for information. Thanks in advance.

I would call and ask for it. There's no info anywhere, I got it from someone on FB earlier today. Was able to apply, and I agree with others - it's not GREAT. But I'm happy with any savings at all.

I got an e-mail.
