Virtual Stateroom Tour

We will be in a CAT 6 on deck 6 (starboard, midship) on the Magic in September, I will measure the verandah length and width and post the dimensions ... is anyone going to be in a CAT 5 on Deck 7 soon? ... if so, can someone measure the verandah so that we can compare the actual size of the verandahs? ... just want to prove this "theory" correct ... or incorrect. Thanks!!

I can do this in September if no one else has by then.

We're staying in 5628 on the Magic in March '07 - anyone stayed here? Comments about it? We've stayed midship (6066) previously and loved it, but it wasn't available this time:(

Not quite 5628 as you were seeking, but just next door!

We were in 5630 on the Magic in May 2006 and loved the location. Close to the aft elevators and stairs, but not so close to be noisy or bothersome. Handy to just down walk down the stairs one deck to Animator's, 2 decks to Parrot Cay. Or nip up in the elevator to Deck 9 for drinks and ice-cream. Presumably very handy for families with children attending the clubs on Deck 5, yet as adults travelling without children we had no problems with noise or hoards of rampaging youngsters!

Wonderful views from the verandah at St Thomas and Castaway Cay (reversed in). Some noise from the engines/thrusters (?) when docking or leaving port, but this was our first cruise so maybe you get that everywhere else too.

Amazing stateroom host, Nilo from Costa Rica. (If he's till there, please say 'hi' from his Royal Air Force people. )

We would have the same room again without hesitation, but it's not available for our April 28th and we'll be in 6034. Has anyone stayed there? I'm a little concerned it was the last Category 6 to be booked, and wonder why no-one before us wanted it! :scratchin

tiger137 - thanks for the info! BTW - I just returned from your beautiful country (a week in London)!

Could somebody please repost the pics of 5020? They no longer show in the posts :( . We just got that room for our 10 day and I'd really like to see what the interior looks like (I found the porthole view pics but also want to see what the room itself looks like).

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,
These are some pics of Room 7001, Cat10. They were taken on my 29th July 06 Western cruise. We loved this room, it was in a very quiet location. Nick was our stateroom host who really looked after us well.

I forgot to say, we had plenty of storage as there was a large steamer trunk as well as the wardrobe.

Hope that helps

Eeek! Justmestace, great pictures of 8534. We are sailing in that cabin in November, and you've got me so excited!

If you have a chance could you tell me if there is a CD player? How about room to park stroller?

Thanks!

I enjoyed looking at these pictures!

Anyone got any pictures of 8058 or 8060 they could sahre with me......

Wow! These pictures are great! I am so looking forward to our 1st Disney Cruise in January of 2007 on the Magic. It gives me an idea of what to expect and how the rooms are laid out.

I think you're mistaken if you're on Voyager Class:
JS: Superior Ocean View Suite
Average size: stat.= 299; balcony= 70 sq ft.
On Decks: 6, 7, 9, 10

DCL: Cat 5
Average size: 268 sq ft. (Includes 54 sq foot balcony)
On Decks: 7

We have stayed in a Cat 6 and 2 Cat 9's on DCL and then a JS on the Mariner. The JS was HUGE compared to both. The Cat 5/6 are the same size on DCL, just different decks.

Apologize if you're on another class of ship that does have smaller JS. I just found the JS on RCCL to be perfect for a family of 4

No offense but all of these rooms look to be soo small..I amnervous that I am going to feel closed in...???anyone else feel this?????

I am not sure but I think I am cat8. All of the sudden my daughter said we were cat9. What is the difference? We are a family of four (dd10 and ds9).
We could not afford the fancier cabins. I am just tickled that we are going. We are suppose to have a wall bed or pull down bed? People that have stayed in these cat, I would love to hear some feedback. Please!! Also, not to change the subject, but what is the weather like the second week of December? I am not worried about the land portion.....we know that part. I am talking about Nassau and Castaway Cay.
