To go or not to go................that is the question.

We have no intention of booking any of the excursions as we will do what e want in the car. However there are bits in the brochure, offering books of vouchrs and free meals at Hard Rock.
Has anyone been to a metting and will we get what they are offering and is it worth it.

Their not worth it all The info they give you already know plus more from this site!!
All they do is try and sell you tickets etc Please dont waste half a day of your first days holiday!

Personaly, if you know what you want to do then its a pointless trip, but if its your first time its probably worth going just to get a few more ideas.

Plus when we went a couple of years ago i won a orlando flexi ticket in a raffle they draw.

If you want the free Hard Rock meals then go.

For the last couple of years it is no longer the hard sell in DTD cinema- we had a very laid back visit to our hotel by the rep who on both occassions didnt try to sell us a thing once we said we were "veterans".

It is nowhere near half a day as stated above, half an hour more like at 8.00am.

In fact it was a pleasant chat and we got some very good local advice for some places well off the tourist trail ( local malls etc).

If however you dont want anything then dont go.

Thanks, we had intended to have a very quiet day, and not go to a park until the evening! I'm not sure how this will actually happen, how can we be in Disney all that time and not go to a park! We are hoping to have a round or two of mini golf and a trip to Disney Quest and DTD. The vouchers for Hard Rock seemed like a good deal and as we shall have no doubt been awake for hours anyway!

Mine started at 9AM and Finished at 10AM so with travelling there and back A half day was wasted!!

Is it not at the hotel where you are staying then? We are at ASMo. Different kettle of fish if we have to drive to it!

Ours was at the hotel we were staying in - I know of others where a hotel closeby was used.
