Hello to you all.

Me and my girlfriend are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside from 1st Novermber.
I booked it up through Thomas cook and asked the girl to try and book me onto Disney Magical Express but she hasn't done it yet, i need to get onto her about it!
Anyway we are flying with Virgin and we can get the virgin bus to our hotel but i just want to know is it very good, should i still try to book disney me? Does virgin transport take you all around the houses?
I don't want to be sat on a bus for ages i just wanna get to the hotel and enjoy the holiday as soon as possible!!
Thanks in advance.

I've never used the Virgin transport but would imagine that it would be a bus that drops people off at a number of hotels.

Another option for you is to book a towncar or limo transfer to your hotel.

You get greeted at baggage reclaim by you driver and get taken direct to your resort in style and comfort - you can even book a grocery stop on route to stock up on a few vitals (beer, snacks etc.).

The round trip transfers cost around $90 plus tip. Limos are a bit more.

Take a look at FLTours for more info:

Ive always used the transfers and it has been great. Its not a Virgin bus which takes you to loads of different hotels, its a lovely Disney Coach which only drops off at a couple of hotels. Also the service is really good, there is someone waiting for you in the airport and they take you to the coach. Last time I remember it went to Port Orleans first and then took us straight to the All Stars. I really wouldnt bother booking anything else.

I might be wrong (no really) but I thought I read somewhere that Magical Express was only available to those landing on internal flights and not from outside the US.

Shame 'cos we could have tried this too :sad2:

Thanks for the replies.

I spoke to disney on the phone and they said i couldn't book me on the phone but can get it at Orlando airport when we are there.
From what jenuk says the virgin one sounds pretty good.
I will have a think about a towncar, it's tempting!!

The money saved on not getting a limo could be spent on something in the parks......a giant mickey mouse perhaps???! :earsboy:
