Virgin Transfers

Hi all

Just a quickie to ask if anyone has gone to WDW with a Virgin package and had a transfer, rather than a car? Was it by bus or mini coach or are they still using magical express service? Also, did it go "all round the houses" ?

We have always used the Virgin transfer and it is usually a mini-bus operated by Mears. This year we were the first drop off at CSR and there was just one other family on the bus going to POP - took about 30 minutes from airport to CSR. Year before, as far as i can remember, we were the second stop off at CBR. Will be using transfer next year - very efficient and not worth paying for a taxi (in our opion!)

Pick up from HRH was a bit of a disaster this year - again Mears mini-bus - every seat was taken and it was a bit of a squash! Got to the airport hours too early and left 3 cuddly toys in the back of the bus ..... have never got them back despite phoning Mears straight away from inside the airport Will be booking our own taxi next year for on the way back to the airport.

If you don't really want to share a bus and tour a few other resorts before you reach you resort then another option is a towncar transfer.

You get your own personal driver who will meet you at the airport baggage reclaim, help you with you bags and then take you straight to your resort in the comfort of a large Lincoln Towncar (or for a little extra a stretch limo! - nice surprise for the family ).

You can also opt for a grocery stop en route to your resort to stock up on essentials like drinks and snacks.
