Anyone know, how many days prior to departure do Virgin issues tickets

Tickets were booked online with Virgin Atlantic

When did you book? Did you receive email confirmation and an email "e-ticket"? Are you asking when you receive your "paper tickets" or have you not received your e-ticket yet?

I received email confirmation when I booked and also notification via post, when the final balance was paid. When do i get REAL tickets (depart 02 August)

If you booked with www.virgin-atlantic.com direct, then you dont normally get REAL tickets - you just get the e-ticket.

But then you normally "pay in full" at time of booking when you book directly with Virgin Atlantic (and you don't get written notification by post either), so I am confused by what you have said. Are you sure you booked directly with www.virgin-atlantic.com ?

That makes more sense

MOST tour operators send out paper tickets 7 to 14 days before departure. Am sure that someone else can give you more information .

Usually 7 - 10 Days before departure. Don't Panic Virgin are very efficient !

Are you able to use twilight check in ?

I will be wanting to check in online the day before and then bag drop the following morning
We are flying from Manchester, so not sure if twighlight is available here

Twilights only at Gatwick at the moment. Only any good if you're travelling the night before anyway. Downtown Disney Check In is still handy if you can bare to think about coming back !

Hope this helps as a sort of guideline, but we leave for Florida with Virgin Holidays on the 16th of July an received our tickets this morning - so just over two weeks in advance.

We're going in 3 wks and were told tickets would arrive 10 - 14 days prior to departure.
