The list of Virgin in-flight movies has been released for August:

From UK:

Anger Management (15)
Down with Love (12a)
Finding Nemo (U)
Laurel Canyon (15)
Phone Booth (15)
View from the Top (PG)
X2 (12a)

To UK:

A Mighty Wind (12a)
Bringing Down the House (12a)
Cyther (15)
Identity (18)
Levity (15)
Piglets Big Movie (U)
What a Girl Wants (PG)

Looking forward to seeing Finding Nemo on the outward flight :)

But, again there is not much choice for the younger passengers. It's a good job younger children like watching the same video over and over again :)

Cheers thanks for that - looking forward to seeing Phone Booth and Finding Nemo

Do you know the "To UK" films for September?

:D

Hi, could you tell me what Finding Nemo is about, is it a childrens type film?

Thanks

THe basics of 'Finding Nemo':

When Nemo, a clown fish, is captured by divers it's up to his dad, Marlin, and his fishy buddies to rescue him.

It's a Pixar film (same people as Monsters Inc., Toy Story etc.)

September film details will be on the Virgin Atlantic website on the 1st of September (films change monthly).

Hope you don`t think that this is a daft question, but can you watch these films anytime you want or is there set times that they are show....sorry if I sound a bit thick but have not done a long distance flight for many years.

Thanks

If you don't already know the answer - it's not a daft question :)

Virgin show all 7 films at the same time. You choose the film channel for the one you want to watch. When all the films have completed, they all start again, so you can then watch another film if you wish.
With interuptions for meals etc. you can get 2 full movies in on the flight.

There are also a number of TV and music channels which have a set number of programs on that also shown in a continous loop.

Some flights have Nintendo games as well.

If you get bored with that you can always stare at the Skymap and see if you can sopt the plane moving on the screen :)

Thanks a lot Goofyish for the information, we are just used to flights to the med, with 1 screen for the whole plane and 1 film that you can`t normally see!!
