ILE-A-LA-CROSSE, SASKATCHEWAN - To some people, it's just condensation. But to the true believers, the Virgin Mary is appearing on a hothouse wall in Saskatchewan.
The figure first appeared on Monday night in Ile-a-la-Crosse. The white image on the glass of a backyard greenhouse looks like the figure of a woman with her arms spread wide.
And that has people pouring into the community in the north of the province.
The owner of the greenhouse rubbed away the image Tuesday night, but it came back. Further proof of the divine origin of the image, believers say, is the strong smell of roses.
About 500 people visited the greenhouse Wednesday.
The owners say they'll keep letting people in for a look as long as the image remains.
