Hope this helps somebody. Just got an Email from Virgin Holidays - they are offering 10% off all holidays to the USA booked online this weekend

Nope been £60 since autumn last year as far as I can recall.

I don't think the £60 is the fuel surcharge, just a supplement for weekend/peak time flights. AFAIK, the fuel surcharge price hasn't changed. Unless, of course, I'm being daft in which case feel free to completely ignore me

There is a £60 fuel supplement then a £15 per way weekend fee as well, both per person. Both VA and BA, and no doubt others, increased their fuel surcharges to £60 for a return longhaul trip in Sept 2005.
