Virgin Freebies

I have just flew back from Miami with Virgin and was very surprised at the freebies I was given. In July I got the Bag (which is I must admit is very handy) with socks, pens etc and this time all I got was a pencil case with the ear plugs, eye mask and a pen. Has anybody who has just flown back from Florida had the same thing

It's my understanding that you get the big bag on the way out (during the daytime) and the little 'pencilcase' on the return flight (overnight) because most people sleep on that one.

Yes, we flew with Virgin at the end of October / beginning of November and received the larger bag outbound, with the smaller one on return.

My guess is that few people wanted two large bags and a lot got left behind on the plane, partly used, on the return leg.

Yes, I was disappointed in August. After the morning at theme parks all I wanted to do was change into some fresh socks for the journey home, I didn't care about the rest of the stuff. After waiting at Orlando airport for a thunder storm to pass I couldn't wait for some fresh snuggley socks and was disappointed not to have any.

PS does any one ever use the toothbrushed supplied they're so big?

Surely if you were that bothered you would have taken your own socks? they don't take up much room?? I'd rather change my undies than socks, so I take my own spare set of undies & socks anyway.

I didn't take my own socks as the previous time I'd travelled with Virgin they were supplied on the way home. Next time I will be packing extra socks in my carry on bag.

Not sure if this is the correct place for this one but does anyone know whats in the free grocery pack that is supplied with the villas when booked with Virgin
