Virgin Flydrives

hope they have more bargains for when i want to go
I've been checking vh everyday for my dates in september, £569 at the mo, have also checked va but obviously my dates aren't out yet so i have been putting in the end aug beginning of sept to get an idea of how much they are going to be, £605 at the mo..think thats how much they will be for the 21st sept, as the price doesnt really fluctuate in september

I'll be surprised if you have to pay much more than £500. I just booked BA flights for 14th September for £499.

I have just had a quote from Virgin Holidays for a Flydrive, with vehicle upgrade to a 7 seater plus Platinum Insurance for MAN to MCO return flights, flying PE out and E return of £5800.00.:confused3

Cant make my mind up if thats a good deal or not now adays?

The strange thing is they have no availabilty on the dates I required been the 8th October to 29th and could only offer me 9th October to the 1st November. Now I'm also panicing that all the seats have gone for my actual dates which in turn is making me think I should book the Flydrive:confused3

Oh, what to do:confused:

You're talking about October 2011, aren't you?

Really, don't worry, the flights can't possibly be full seeing as the airline hasn't released any of the seats for sale yet! Yes, Virgin Holidays will have a certain number of seats allocated to them which they sell prior to the airline releasing the rest of the seats to the general public (i.e the seats you book direct with Virgin Atlantic airlines, or a broker). The vast majority of the seats will go on sale 11 months prior to the flight.

It was exactly the same this time last year...Virgin Holidays telling people that there were no seats left on flights in October when what they should have been telling them was that they didn't have any of their small early allocation left, but if you wait for the seats to go on sale proplerly in November, there will be hundreds of seats available.
