From what I've read, Virgin is targeting its line at millenials. I think that this is a cruise line that I could see myself and my friends going on - it's sleek, the service will be great and it won't be targeted to children or older folks. While both of those groups are perfectly fine, since I don't yet have kids, I generally try not spend time with them on vacation (which Disney allows me to do). And clubs that appeal to someone who is 60+ are probably not playing the sort of music I want to dance to, so nighttime entertainment on a lot of the other lines is limited.
Without the Disney family-friendly brand but (hopefully) with similar levels of service, I really think that this is a cruise line that millenials could get on board with (pun intended). While they may not be offering anything especially unique, I have to think they'll be doing some things differently in order to attract the clientele that they'll need to stay in business. I'll be interested to see what happens.
