Virgin car hire through Alamo, good prices!!

Hi all, I have been checking car prices for our trip next Aug for 20 nights for several months, cheapest by far is Virgin atlantic, great price for a standard SUV, bigger than the intermediate £479 for 20 nights Pick up at TPA, Sat nav is an extra £1 per day if required , the provider is Alamo, there is a cancellation charge of £50

I keep checking their prices but they are coming up silly money for me. Price: £598.00 or £688 with Platinum, I can get 7 seater with platinum elsewhere for about £510.

Seems a good deal for you though

I was having a think and wondered why other cars were showing more money but your size SUV cheaper so I checked Holiday Autos via this discounted link http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/othe...e/734198-holidayautos-discount-worldwide.html
Last time I rented thru them it was with Alamo, they show the Equinox as intermediate SUV @ £443 less Quidco.
Strange VA are saying that car is standard size, something not quite right but you are booking a size of car not a specific model so you should get the bigger standard SUV.
