VIP Tour Question

Has anyone taken the VIP tour at Universal/Orlando recently? If so, how was it?

I am thinking of doing the non exclusive 1 day 2 park one in June.

We haven't done it for a few years now but we really enjoyed it when we did. We actually did it several times...got to ride/see all the major attractions once, then got to go back and repeat the favorites (based on group consensus...fortunately, when we did it at IOA the others were Hulk and Spidey fanatics like me). You can choose the front rows, which is a real plus on some rides. The only weird experience we had once was that we were with a group where half loved thrill rides and half (who were with them) hated 'em...so most of us would ride but the rest would just stand there and wait for us. They had all paid for the tour so it seemed like a waste...but to each his own I guess. Some of the guides have great trivia and will tell you all the back stories etc. of the attractions which adds to the fun.
