VIP Tour and DAS: Should we do it?

Hi all. Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids, one of which qualifies for and has received a DAS) is traveling to WDW for the first time ever in a few weeks. We've done DL several times. We will have 6 park days and 1 rest day (where we will attend the Xmas party in the evening). This will probably be our one and only WDW trip (at least for the next 10 years). For these reasons, and the fact that my child (with the DAS) is hard to travel with, we had planned on doing a VIP tour. But now that I've learned it's much easier to retrieve return times (versus the way I've done it at DL, which is only by visiting a blue umbrella) I feel like we can accomplish all the rides we want by utilizing DAS, Genie +, and the purchased ILLs. Of course it would be awesome to do a VIP tour, but I'm not sure if it's worth the cost anymore.

Would love to hear advice from those of you more experienced than me!

The biggest difference is you don't have to schedule anything when you have a VIP guide - they will walk you right to the LL and ILL lines. For us, it means not having to criss-cross the park to get to scheduled rides and not having to have our faces in our phones all day long. Would you still be able to ride everything with LL, ILL, DAS - most likely, but a guide will expedite your access and allow for a more relaxing day. The guide can also pick you up at your resort and drive you to backstage areas to expedite your park entrance and also drive you park-to-park, making hopping much easier. Depending on when your tour is scheduled, they can also get you preferred viewing for the nighttime shows (you need to be with your guide or be dropped off by your guide to access the viewing areas).
