VIP passes?

Does anyone know anything about these? We are renting a place in Windsor Hills, and with our rental the owner is providing us with some parking passes (we still pay for parking but apparently we can park right behind the handicapped section?), as well as "VIP" passes for splash mountain and big thunder mountain. The way she explained it is that they are good for up to 8 people, and it is basically like a fast pass, but we need to have a child with us. That they were obtained from times when people wait in line for a period of time with a child who is too small for the ride, and gets to the front of the line and it is determined he/she it too short...so they get these passes that don't expire for a fastpass basically to ride the ride next time they arrive. I might not be explaining this exactly right.

It seems like. "Too good to be true" type thing.....but the owner sounded confident, and some of the reviews on her website refer to these passes. Does anyone know anything about these? If they are legit, I could cancel my FP+ for those rides and get different FP+

I certainly wouldn't cancel your existing FP+ choices! Better safe than sorry. Are these 'legit'? Maybe. They were given to some other than you. I believe the intent is that the returning child can use it when they are big enough, on a subsequent trip. It would seem that this person you are renting from may have come into a bunch of these passes, possibly from a CM who had access to them. So, who knows if you will be able to use them. Perhaps someone here will know better.

As far as the preferred parking goes.....I have to wonder if you are being given a AAA parking pass. They get the closer parking. But those passes are generally given to those who have booked all, or part, of their WDW stay through AAA.
