VIP bathrooms: is that a thing?

Saw on a FB post that Disney has private $$$ pay to use vip bathrooms. An unreliable sight lists all the glorious details. My CM DD never heard/saw these. Anyone know if they do indeed exist?

Seems like yet another edition of “parody website posts a fake article and another website takes it seriously”, if we’re talking about the website I found after googling this. The original article called them “VIPee bathrooms”, which, to be fair, is pretty funny.

I really thought it had to be a joke but the folks on FB went down the rabbit hole. One woman claimed there was a huge line at the bathroom, she was pregnant, and a CM took her backstage to use the VIP bathroom. Highly doubt that story

There are obviously bathrooms on property that are not available to the general public, such as those in backstage areas. If you want to call those "VIP" because access will be limited to certain individuals, then sure, but trust me they are nothing special. There's no secret gold toilets or rooms with free perfumes to sample.

There are cast bathrooms backstage, at least at Disneyland. You can see them when they open the passageway behind Main Street near fireworks time. Maybe they take the VIPs to those?

My understanding is that some rides (notably RoR) do have restrooms in backstage areas that guests may be escorted to if an urgent situation arises in a lengthly queue. That's at CM's discretion in those areas, and the CM must wait and escort the guest back.

But always reserved for VIP use? Club 33 is probably the only one.

Yes, that happened to someone in our party once at Disneyland. I think we were in the queue for the Indy ride.
