Vinylmation and Autographs

So I just bought my first vinylmation. It was for a trip in 3 weeks but now I am hearing that the characters can't sign them anymore. Does anyone know anything about this? Please help!

This is disappointing. I bought two for autographs as well. Hope not!

This has been the case at WDW for a bit now. I was able to get them autographed last December on the Dream when I left the vinylmation with guest services.

I didn't even know the characters ever signed them......

I really hope they let me does this at DL. My little girl is so excited. I wonder how I find out in advance.

No, the characters do not sign Vinylmation figures.

I had the same idea a few months back. I asked a site that is heavily frequented by CM's and the responce was a big fat NO So, I went to Michaels and got a couple of hats and a fabric marker. We had no problems getting autographs with those. In fact, most of the characters loved the idea of signing hats. We also got a few complements from guests on what a great idea it was.

We got ours done on the Wonder in April.

I am thinking that maybe they don't do them in the parks as they are:

1) pricey
2) hard to hold w/character gloves on

I'm thinking when they are signed on the ships, CMs don't have to be in costume.... just a thought.
