patrickpiteo - thanks again, we decided to keep our reservation for this Sunday. our party tix are will-callwas going to try to pick them up @ the resort concierge to avoid standing in one line on party evening. Now wondering if it'd bepossible to just stop @ MK outside GS pre 4 pm and try to pick up both party & soiree bands @ the same time, then get in the entrance line.
As many times as I've been to MK I'm not recognizing 'the hut'.

We found it much easier to get everything outside the line at the hub was super longYou can't get soirée tickets till 4 pm and it's not the big will call windows to the left of the turnstiles. It's this little hut booth up front outside with one cast member doing soirée lanyards.
we got there at hub and were sixth in line just get there around 7:15 should be fine..We found it much easier to get everything outside the line at the hub was super long
Can you get your party wrist bands at the same place??We found it much easier to get everything outside the line at the hub was super long

BFF and I did the Soiree this past Sunday. We had late seating. Here are some of my thoughts in case it can help anyone.
1. We arrived at 3:45 and immediately went to the kiosk where the credential distribution takes place. They will not start checking in people until exactly 4pm so you will have to wait in line. We were 3rd in line at this point and by the time 4 oclock rolled around, the line had grown a bit. You will need a picture ID to check-in. As long as it's all in order, it's a painless process. We got our credentials, our seating card and we were inside Magic Kingdom by 4:05pm. You can not get your party wristbands here, you will have to get them as soon as you enter the park as usual.
2. We arrived for the parade 15 minutes before it was to start. We got one of the last spots along the rope so we had a prime view. It was an awesome spot for the parade and it was so nice not to have to wait around. FYI, they cancelled the 2nd parade on this day so we were glad we went ahead and did the 1st one. Inside the VIP area, there is a cooler with small bottles of water and someone was passing out lollipops.
3. We left to go get popcorn and a drink and then came back for the fireworks. I did not want to stay there but BFF insisted so we took a spot towards the back of the area. It was practically empty (most people stayed along the rope) but the view was not so great. It was really nice to stretch out and sit to watch it but I missed my perfect view of the fireworks. If there was a next time, we would definitely leave the area for firework viewing.
4. It started raining really hard and pretty much everyone checked in for the Soiree at the same time. No worries, at least we were dried. Once in the lobby, Hook, Frollo and Queen of Hearts came in to "mix and mingle". It was great and I'm pretty sure everyone who wanted a photo got one.
5. Once we were asked to move upstairs, Frollo and Hook came with us and mixed and mingled some more. Frollo stopped by our table 3 times, Hook only once and he was on his way out the door. After that the rest came in. We did not have the pleasure of having the Tremaine sisters at the Soiree - just Lady Tremaine. I was really hoping to see them and that was a little sad.
6. The desserts were interesting. Maleficent def had the best one. The presentation was beautiful though and I never felt rushed. The cheese plate was nice but they should really switch out the bread they use for some crackers. The bread was terrible (it was hard...like it had sat out for a while).
7. The show itself was great. Character interaction was good. Cruella was amazing as was Lady Tremaine.
8. All the stuff they give you (cup w/ candy, drink mixer, glow in the dark cube) were a nice touch.
9. Although we had a good time, we both agreed we would never do it again. Maybe if the price point was LESS than $75 we would consider it but for $100 per person, we didn't think it was worth the price. Had we had the sisters and maybe if they added a free photo or something, maybe then, it would have been worth the $100 but still not sure.
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask.
Thanks!

Thank you for your detailed review! You've helped confirm the personal decision I have made not to attend the event and just do my MNSSHP night. The fireworks are a HUGE deal to me and you are not the first person who shared this opinion regarding the viewing spot. Did you ride the attractions during this time as well?
These are great!!! No problem.. Best character interaction I have ever seen better then any character meal we had ever been at.. They seemed to go out of their way to make sure all were having a good time.. And boy did they stay in character lolThese are great!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!!
We had done some FP+ reservations between 4-7pm. We had Mine Train, Space Mountain and Splash Mountain. In between those, we did Haunted Mansion, Tea Cups and Big Thunder and had a quick dinner at Pecos. During the party we did some Trick or Treating (btw, best spot was by Storybook Circus and the path between Storybook and Space Mountain...everything else had long lines) and we also rode Dumbo, Pirates, Buzz and met talking Mickey (wow that was weird!). We had plans to hit Fantasyland before the Soiree check-in but then it started pouring and decided to take cover by the Castle.
