I'm interested if you still have this. I tried to PM but it doesn't seem to be working. Can you let me know if you still have it?

Thanks, Dawn

I think the people at the Disney reservation centre might be getting annoyed with me. I call every 2 days to see if any openings have come up on the October 5th soiree. Every time. Nada. :sad1:

Don't feel bad I am doing the same thing for Halloween.

I give up calling. It's international long distance for me. I still don't understand why they don't have a 1-800 number for their customers! :(

I'll ask one more time when we get to Disney and if not then I guess we miss out. I was really hoping to pull it off for my bestie since we're both celebrating our birthdays on this trip! I can still hope for pixie dust. :wizard:

For those of you with little kids, how have they done with the Soiree times? We're going to MVMCP in December and would probably do the rumored add-on party with our 3-year-old nephew, but I wanted to hear how other younger kids did.

We are taking our 3 and 6 year old in a few weeks, so I'll let you know! Opted for the earlier seating, as I know they'd never make it till the later one! We will miss out on some party time, but since we are doing 2, I figured that would be ok. :) Not sure if we'd do it if it were our only party??

We had our 2 and 7 year old at the 10:15pm party. They did great! We even did a Dance party and trick or treating after. Of course we made them take a 3 hour nap in the afternoon since we knew it would be a late night.

Oh, how I wish I could MAKE my kids take a nap!! The only one who seems to manage regular Disney naps is DH!! LOL!! :)

I call 2x per day just about every day. I have 5 tickets on 10/31 at 10:10 and want the 11:45 seating.

They have been super nice. I have even spoken to the same cast member 3 times and she remembers me.

They also shared that they are seeing the most cancellations within 2 days of the event.

I am going to keep calling.

Just a heads up to anyone using the Soiree parade viewing area. A friend of mine was there this past Tuesday and said they entered the area just before the parade and there were no spots left on the ropes. It appears that area is getting busier as the season goes on. So plan to get there early if you want a rope spot.

Thank you - this is good to know, as we planned to show up last minute! :) Though the number of people in this area shouldn't change, right, so wonder what is causing this?

Jam packed last night at party and yes front rope spots were gone right off the bat. We did get front but if you left you lost the spot real fast. I couldn't complain as no one was crawlin up my back. Party itself was great the characters are awesome.

We went this past friday. LOVED it. Hope they do it again next year. Most tables for 4 only had two people at them (ours included). This made the whole thing feel open and not very crowded at all. We did the late seating and didn't get out of there till nearly 1am.

I think is is the number of parties. We went to just MNSSHP the friday before (a 1 soiree night) and there were rope spots open during the parade. The next friday we did the Soiree and there were no rope spots 30 minutes before. It was a 2 soiree night though, so double the VIP people.

Makes sense! :) I think we are on a 1 soirée night, but will still plan to get there a little early. :) So great to hear all these awesome reports....can't wait to experience it myself!!!

what time did you arrive?

We checked in at the hub at around 7:45 and got in that line lol around 7:15 yes there was a line for that already... Gotta tell you watching the parade from there was awesome.. The characters come right up to you and the fireworks from there were just fine no complaints from me or my wife.. They give you free water well look for it as they didn't walk around with it. The had disney blunders throwing people who try to cross reserved robe line lol all in all well worth the extra $$$ IMHO
