Villians Sinister Soirée

What time does the parade actually reach the hub if it starts at 8:15 in frontierland? And how long does the parade last? Trying to time everything, my biggest concern is taking time away from the party waiting between parade and fireworks.

I just did this (and was surprised my call got answered without a wait!) and was told that they will put a note in the reservation but there are no guarantees about how they'll accommodate it at special events. She just said there are lots of desserts and you can just pick something else, which seems inadequate given that there are only 4 desserts, that you're supposed to get all of them, and that it costs $99. This CM didn't seem too knowledgeable, though, so perhaps I'll call again later.

When's your party?

My mom is allergic to chocolate :scared: and it looks like the desserts have a bunch. I added it to our reservation, so I'll be interested to see what they do for her.

Hell, she'll probably be happy with a bowl of fruit.

Lol, for $99 I hope your mom gets more than a bowl of fruit!

I was surprised to see how limited the dessert selections were. I know CRT isn't typically set up as a buffet, but I thought they might move some things around to make this similar to the other dessert parties I've seen where you have a lot of different options that are all you care to eat. I certainly hope they have alternatives available for those that cannot eat all of the plated desserts considering the price being charged.

I agree lol. I was expecting at least the same amount of options that the Wishes dessert party has. No chocolate covered strawberries? COME ON!

This is what I'm thinking about doing... would love to hear reports from anyone who gives it a shot...

This is what we will be doing. We are high tailing it out of the parade viewing area as soon as the last parade float goes by, heading to get our Haunted Mansion magic shot, then walking over to our favorite viewing area which I will not share. :-)

September 16th, but I can't see paying that amount of money if they aren't going to substitute the desserts. We're not big on characters, we were going because want good location for the parade, good location for the fireworks, desserts, and to be in the castle, but it sounds like when we're going, the only real benefit is to be in the castle, and since we're doing a CRT breakfast later, we may cancel these reservations. We'll wait to see what the other reviews are.

I do wonder if, given the lack of crowds in September, the cost should be lower to reflect the limited value of the priority viewing area, but we've never been to a Disney hard ticket event, so we assumed it would be way too crowded to get a good view unless we devoted a good amount of the party to staking out a spot.

Oh, ok. Our biggest priority is the characters, so I think that's where we'll differ here. Hopefully they can get something substituted in. They seem to do a really good job everywhere else, and with this price tag....

I cannot believe I passed-on the party. I had my DH all set to buy the tickets for the night we will be at MNSSHP, October 5th, which is also our DD 10th birthday. But after a quick consideration, and the fact that only the late sitting was available, we passed. Guess we will just enjoy the the party with the normal folk!:rotfl2:

Can you double check the link for All Ears please..I am getting this:

I'd like that info as well, and how much time there is between the end of the parade and the start of the fireworks. We're in the second seating, with an "ADR" time of 11:25. We want to make sure we hit everything we want before going to the castle, since the party will be over by the time he Soirée ends.

Still the same but I wouldn't worry about it right now, maybe just remove it until another time ? There is no review there anyway yet, just the basic details as we know them. No review from the ones that run Allears
