Villians Character Meal?

It's been a while since I've been to Disney and we're headed to MNSSHP this year for the first time. I was wondering if they have a Villians Character meal running during this time. I haven't seen anything, so I'm guessing no, but it never hurts to ask.

Not anymore.Back in 2000/2001 dinner at 1900 Park Faire used to be a villains meal...IT WAS AWESOMe.I was told by a Cm that it scared the pants off most little ones so they changed it.Sad because I really loved that meal.The food ok, but the characters rocked.

I remember the villains meal being a lot of fun.

But I also heard it was removed because too many complaints from parents that their children were afraid of the villains.

If that's the reason, it won't be back.

Agreed. I would never take my kids to a villian meal. My middle would be scared out of his mind. But just because my little guy is scared doesn't mean it should be taken away from everyone. My Dh would love that. It could have been one we did WITHOUT the kids!!!

I wish they had it too- I think it would be tons of fun! In defense of the parents whose kids were scared... alot of times you don't even know they will be scared until it is too late. My dd LOVES her Cinderella movie, including the stepsisters and stepmother, but went to 1900 Park Fare and she was deathly afraid of the stepmother, cowering every time she came near- never saw that one coming! Not a biggie, but completely unexpected.

It probably was the staff noticing scared children more than the parents complaining b/c they knew what it was all about and were probably expecting a great time...sometimes you can't foresee how kids will act!

Me too. I didn't realize they actually had one at one time. That would be so awesome.

DD4 would've LOVED a villan character meal! Bummer! We had to seek out all the "bad guys" last fall for autographs. Of course there were only a few that actually gave autographs but my DD was SOOOO excited to meet those she got to meet!

I never knew they had this either, some of my favorite characters are villians so I would have loved to go to this.

I didn't know that they used to have one. My DD would be one of those small kids who would have loved to have seen the villians. I can only imagine what the interaction was like!

Anyone have pics from the Villians Meal that they would be willing to post? I wish they had this still. I think it would go great with the Fantasmic Show at DHS.

My family would love a villian meal also. I think it would it be fun for older kids. Of course little kids would be afraid of villians so that meal would not be for them. Maybe it should have a warning like the rides???

I do have pics but I need to wait till DH comes home to help me post them.The villains we had were Captain hook,queen of hearts,jafar,Governor Radcliffe,and Maleficent.
