Villas at Island Club?

was hoping to get some opinions on this place.

our other options are:
Laguna Bay Villas
Royal Palm Bay
Sweetwater Club
Villas at Somerset
Florida Vacation Villas
Grand Palm


input on any of these would really be appreciated!

Hi..please see the thread below on Villas at Somerset...Island Club, Sweetwater, Laguna, Royal Palm are almost identical floor plan to Somerset. Island Club and Grand Palms are located in Lindfields just off highway 192 about 4 miles west of the Disney entrance off 192...nice location...
These are nice older condos convenient to Disney...I would choose Island Club or Somerset for best location to Disney...

We have stayed at both Grand Palms and Villas at Island Club. They are directly across the street from each other on Lindfields Blvd. The location is excellant. You can be at any of the parks in a matter of minutes with the new Western Way entrance. Both are "condo communities" not what I would call resorts. They do have nice pools, clean grounds, and small fitness areas. Of course, the units are individually owned so some are more modern and up to date than others. Both units we stayed in were very nice, well decorated and extra clean.

We love the area and felt very safe and comfortable. Check out VRBO and look at the pictures of individual units.

I'm familiar with the area Villas at Island Club is located. Very good location in relation to WDW. We have not personally stayed there, but, an acquaintance of ours has. Actually, he and his wife are early retirees and rent the same condo at Island Club every year from November to March. He told me quite a few of the condos in this development are long term rentals usually by the word of mouth to other "snowbirds".
