Villains Question...

Hello Everyone...I am new to the boards here and am looking forward to chatting with you all. I go to Disney every January and have a son who is absolutely crazy about the villains (Jafar is his favorite). But they are not around anymore, except for in the parades. I understand that there was a problem with people complaining about villain behavior (which makes no sense, because villains are not supposed to act pleasant!) but I am hoping that there is somewhere that they can be seen on a more up close and personal basis...he is asking Santa for that for heaven's sake!!! I am at a loss...does anyone know something that I don't? Thanks so much everyone

Welcome to the Dis. As far as I know, they still participate in the meet and greets especially the one near Ariel's Grotto at the MK.

I would also suggest, if you have not already, post this question on the Theme Park Attractions board as they are very up to date on these types of happenings at WDW. In fact, they can tell you where Jafar normally can be found.

Alladin, Jasmine, Jafar, and Genie can be seen daily in Adventureland.

There is a platform across from Alladin's Carpets and in front of the Treehouse where they stand.

At MGM Studios, there is a really good store called Villains In Vogue. It has tons of great villain merchandise. You might find some holiday shopping opportunities there!

If he likes Cruella, I saw her 2 weeks ago on Main St. in the MK, in front of Tony's Restaurant.

Captain Hook is almost always over by Pirates of the Caribbean.

He'll also love the "Fantasmic!" show in MGM. It's Mickey against the Villains.

We were there just last week. We saw many villians in both MK and MGM doing greets. They were in true villian behavior too!! We saw Jafar, Queen of Hearts, Cruella, The wicked witch (in witch garb-- a first for us), Snow Queen. There were also a handful of other villians I didn't know.

The Villains use to appear at this location, but have not for quite a few months. Insteed they now either appear at Town Square (Cruella, Ratcliffe, Prince John) or at the location designated for the characters from the films they were in (Jafar at Magic Carpets and Queen of Hearts at the Mad Tea Party).
