We've always stayed on site up to now but for various reasons are considering a villa for this october.

How far in advance of park opening to do the theme park car parks open (i.e. do they open at the park opening time, or before to give you enough time to park and get to the entrance)?

Am I right that the car park charge is per day rather than per visit i.e you can park hop but not pay extra parking?

Thinking of staying in windsor hills. Is there still onstruction work going on there?

Do most villas provide more than one key as although we will stay together groups will be independant most of the timethrough the day.

Hi, I can try to help with some of your questions

You are right about the parking charge at WDW, you do only pay once and its valid at all parks that day.(Water parks have free parking)

Not sure exactly how early the car parks open, but we've always found it's always in plenty of time to get to the entrance before opening.

We have rented three villas, two we were given a key, but only the one and last year it had a key code on the door which was easier, especially if there are more than one group sharing. I would check when you are looking at the different villas if you need more than one key.

The parking lots open well in advance of the parks; the TTC even more so. I'd say you could plan to arrive an hour before park opening if you wanted to.

Yes, you're right - you pay one parking charge per day regardless of how many parks you visit.

Most villas these days have a coded entry box on the wall by the front door which contains the key. That way, the last person to leave locks up and puts the key back in the box so it's there for whoever returns first.

Not sure about construction at Windsor Hills, but, as one of the newer sub-divisions I would say almost certainly, "yes".

Sorry can't answer your questions about the villas but parking wise: we have arrived up to an hour early & never found them closed-the earlier you get there ,the closer to the front & no need to wait for the trams. In MK case although you can park early ,the ferryboat & monorail don't start until about 30-40 mins before park opening. 1 parking ticket is valid for the whole day, just show it at each park entrance.

The one we've stayed at (and the one we'll be staying in) gave us more than one key.

I have a key pad at the villa and a lock box with key in (just incase the battery should fail on the coded lock box.

No reason for anyone to get locked out,

Lynn
