I'm looking for recommendations for a 3 bed/2 bath villa in the Indian Ridge/Creek, Lindfields, Formosa Gardens or Rolling Hills developments. Anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably priced villa in these or nearby locations? (Vernon, do you still have yours?) This will be for summer 2004 (right now I just need an indication of price).

Regards

Rob

Hi Rob
We have a 3 bed villa booked for 3 weeks July/August 2003, on Indian ridge, price £1350 for 3 weeks.

we stayed in a 6 bed/4 bath villa in rolling hills last year and it was beautiful

the location is great for disney and there's loads of restaurants on the 192

i preferred the closeness of International drive though where you can actually walk up and down whereas you can't so easily do this on the 192

Sadly I sold mine last year :(, but I have the email address of the new owners at home so I'll PM you with the information. ( Might be tomorrow as I'm out "entertaining" tonight :jester: and may be in no fit state to be trusted with a keyboard LOL)

Thanks Neil, did they have a local management agent to collect keys from?

hiya rob

the villa we rented had an electronic keypad on the door and florida villas select mailed us the details prior to us leaving the uk

this is actually something we would definitely look for when we next go (if we stay in a villa) ....

if you have to pick up the villa keys from a management company some are located quite a distance away (and possibly in the opposite direction) from your villa and it can take quite a long time - something you don't want or need after a 9 hour flight

we did actually meet the management company as we had problems with the front door and he came out and sorted it - he was actually a really nice english bloke who looked after a few villas in the area

he helped me after we returned home and e-mailed me a loss report - i lost my camera memory stick the last day we were in the villa - his url is http://www.pinnaclevacationhomes.com/indexmain.htm

Hi Rob,

Just to confuse things here, we've stayed at Rolling Hills, Formosa Gardens & Windsor Palms over the last couple of years. The villas at Formosa are HUGE, we stayed in a 6 bed/4 bath villa and it was absolutely superb (see http://www.jmfloridavillas.com/ ) although it's probably slightly too big for what you want, shame though as it was absolutely stunning. We also stayed at their Rolling Hills villa and both were amazing. But last November we thought we'd try Windsor Palms (the previous villas were unavailable!) and we liked it so much we're going back on Friday!!

It's a lovely development, 2 down from Rolling Hills so it's a great location (right by Formosa Boulevard which has all the restaurants you could possible want - TGI's, Giodannis, The Outback, Carrabbas, Chinese Take Out/Pizzas/ Goodings, Eckerd etc). The villas are lovely and they have a clubhouse with it's own 62 seater cinema ( you just choose what you want to see at the shop at the clubhouse and they book you a slot!), they also have a full size swimming pool, volley ball, tennis and a fully equiped gym. Last year we used www.statesideuk.com got a fantastic deal for £350 per week although this was relatively late booking. Stateside actually let you book the villa you want and they have a range of photo's and information. This year we've booked everything with Mercury Travel and I think we've paid £450 which is still fantastic for a 4 bed (2 ensuite)/3 bath villa in May.

Good luck

Lisa
