Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

I went to Barnes & Nobles today and the guy at the counter said they could combine as many $5 egiftcards as I wanted. I asked about doing 40 of them and he said it was fine, it'd just take about 5 minutes to do. He also said I could bring them in and combine them into a large giftcard.

This was just 1 guy saying that, so it could be wrong info...but I'm hoping what he said is the truth. I'm saving up for a Nook :)

My coworker did this too. They just scan them and then put them on a physical gift card.

Yes, Viggle Support said Best Buy GCs will return and will still be listed at 37,500 points. They also said that it's really more likely that Lowes will return before Best Buy....that doesn't surprise me. Here's why:

I've noticed a pattern over the past couple months...when Amazon and Target GCs show up again, Best Buy cards "disappear" or as Viggle says, "We just ran out." And then when Target and Amazon GCs run out, that's when the Best Buy GCs return.

My thinking is this: Target and Amazon $25 cards are listed at 50,000 points. Best Buy $25 card is only 37,500 points. If all 3 options were available at the same time, more than likely most everyone would go after Best Buy. So whenever Target and Amazon cards are in stock, Best Buy cards are nowhere to be found.

So now that Amazon cards are gone, everyone will flock to get Target cards. Once those run out, Best Buy GCs will return. How soon is anyone's guess. With the drop in points and low amount of ads, it might take people awhile to save 50,000 points for Target.

If anyone has noticed, the Target cards have stuck around a lot longer than last time. The last batch of $25 (at 50,000 points) were gone within 48 hours. It's been what? A week now, and Target cards are still here....

I think you're right about them not having BB at the 37,500 while the Target / Amazons were for 50K for the same dollar value. I figured they would bump up the point cost for the BB cards, so I'm glad to hear they'll still be at 37,500. I should have enough to get two of them by tonight so I'll be ready to jump on them when they become available. Any idea of the time of day they add rewards?

I did just start following @vigglesupport on Twitter.

As for Target - let me get this straight- you can take the Target reward and buy a Disney gift card at Target with it? I'm saving up for an iPad right now which is why I want the BB gift cards, but I'm also saving up my allowance and extra change and my birthday is coming up so my folks always send me some cash. So I don't think I'll need my whole $550 I can earn from Viggle for the iPad - but if I can get Disney gift cards with it, then that would be so great for our trip next summer! Every little bit helps. And this might actually encourage DH to go ahead and sign up for his own Viggle account to start earning for Disney gift cards!

I really hope the Lowes cards come back soon. I can redeem on dh's, dd's, and my accounts.

Thank so much for this thread! I started on Friday and am up to 15,000+ pts. I plan to cash out as I go along in case certain rewards disappear or the app itself disappears lol.

Are iTunes gift cards ever a reward? I just started using this and I watch so much TV that I am blazing along with points, haha.

yes but they are out of stock right now. Just be careful not to burn thru the 12 hours during the day before the bonus shows come on at prime time.

I'm still not getting my bonus points if I'm not checked into the show for the whole Tim. I signed into DWTS at 8:00 for 37 minutes. I then checked into The Voice. My point count went up by 37. There was supposed to be 225 BP. When are the BP supposed to show up?

Is there a 12hr limit as well? So anything yo watch after 12 hours will not credit?

Try logging out and in again.sometimes it takes up until the next morning for some of my bonus points to show up. Dancing is still on so until it's over you won't see the points.

Best Buy is closing 2 more stores here in Massachusetts. Just as a heads up those with gift cards should maybe look into redeeming them as the company appears to be going through a lot of changes and who knows what the future may hold.

If you find you aren't getting your points, please email or tweet to @vigglesupport - they can help you by looking into your account to see if something is hanging up or let you know what's going on.

I'm hoping the BB gcs come back this week. I have points burning a hole in my pocket :)

How did you do that so quick??

you can get up to 12,000 pts per day. So 15,000 in 3 days isn't a ton of points.

True, that really isn't a lot especially since I was barely home those past 3 days. My points mostly came from ads that kept popping up and a few long running shows. Last night was my first night trying to log in to as many featured shows as I could. That is a really great way to rack up points.

This has probably been asked over 10 times on this thread, but can you buy the disney gift cards with target gift cards? I have enough points for $50 in target gift cards, but I don't want to get them unless I can go in and get the disney ones!

Yes - you can.

Has anyone redeemed the Kindle Fire yet? I'm considering saving up my points for one to give to DD for Christmas and I just wondered how long it takes to arrive, etc. I read in the fine print that once the item is redeemed, Viggle will mail it to you, so I'm curious if anyone has done that yet.

I joined about a month ago and have gotten 2 BB gift cards and I've almost got enough for a Target card. DH used my 2 BB gift cards, plus $35 in reward certificates to buy himself the new iPad. The BB manager couldn't believe how much DH saved ($85!) by using the gift cards and the reward certificates. They had never heard of Viggle and were very interested when DH explained the program to them.
