Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

I just wanted to report that I printed out my Best Buy e-cards, and used them at the store with no problems. They even scanned my Reward Zone card so I'd get the points from that transaction! And the last e-card they scanned had some money left on it, so they wrote down the amount on that print out and gave it back to me.

I've been reading elsewhere that some Vigglers were having a hard time redeeming their printed out Best Buy e-cards....not sure why. There's even a barcode for the cashier to scan, so it was very easy to do. :thumbsup2

That's good to know :thumbsup2 I'm using my e-gift cards to buy regular gift cards on their website. DH and I decided as long as they have BB cards we're just going to redeem for them and put them away for Christmas.

So if I check into a featured program, wait 15 minutes and then check into another featured program, will I get the bonus for both?

They are still coming up this morning! I keep getting them pretty much back to back :cool1:

I ended up maxing out (first time ever!) last night and started back up at midnight ;) Woke up and the Gatorade ads are still there! I like those since they are 30 sec. ads for 75 points, adds up quick!!!

I was coming to also post the 100 point Wiz ads are still showing this morning. I happened to check last night around 1am (bad storms here) and got a few and then I was surprised they were showing this morning, still! :cool1:

There are also several bonus shows tonight so I'll need to work out my game plan! Soon, I'll have several Xmas gifts done (BestBuy & Amazon gift cards) and a few freebies for me too :)

Happy Sunday,
Heather

Thanks for posting about Viggle! I signed up yesterday and earned 11,000 points! The 100 point ads really helped, I just kept clicking on them last night while I was watching TV.

Does anyone have an idea when the Amazon cards will be available? I mainly joined to get the Amazon cards since I just got a Kindle Touch and need some books to read! My local library does not have a big selection of Kindle books, so I could really use Amazon cards to buy the books I want.

Thanks again for posting about this, it's kind of fun planning my strategy to maximize my points!

Here's what I do in order to get Amazon cards. I earn the $25 BestBuy egift card, print it out, then take it to the store and purchase an Amazon Kindle gift card with it. Basically - I'm trading one for the other in the store! :thumbsup2 I'm not sure if you have a BestBuy in your area but I usually save up for 2 or 3 and then do them at one time. I have not had any problems at all doing this and I've read others do this as well. I mentioned the cards are Amazon Kindle cards but just remember you can use them on Amazon for other items. Sometimes the sales associates say they don't have Amazon cards but if you say the Amazon Kindle cards that usually helps them. You can find them in the Kindle/Tablet section or even up front near the checkout (at least in my store). :cool1:

Have fun,
Heather

About the movie tickets- my theater had said no they didn't take the movie cash certificates for movies that were marked as 'no passes'. I decided to go ahead and take the certificates anyway and see what happened. My daughter and her friend were seeing Hunger Games Friday, I handed over the certificates and the guy said oh it's not going to take these but i'll try anyway. Well, it took! He said they were different than the 'normal' ones. I don't use the movie cash or whatever they're called so I'm not sure what's different.
Just wanted to pass that along for anyone else whose theater doesn't normally take these for no pass movies.:thumbsup2

I still have a couple Hollywood Movie Money tickets, but I didn't use them for Hunger Games. The theater we go to is pretty far away, and with the showings selling out, I thought it would be best to buy our movie tics online.

We'll use our Hollywood Movie movie tics for something else down the road!

Having trouble today? My son and I are clicking on ads but none are registering.

I did a bunch of ads today too....it was taking a few hours for them to register....maybe 3 hours or so...

we'll keep clicking. :) It's just sad 'cause we registered him today and he's not seeing his points add up. Oh well.. we'll wait it out.

Yea, I've noticed a huge lag in points updating. Guess the weekend special drew in lots of people, so the server is probably busy.

I had a hard time using my CVS gift certificates today. I used them at another store last week just fine. I kept trying to explain to clerk to read the instruction on the cert but she keep saying she didn't want to lose her job for accepting them. She made me feel like I was trying to do something wrong.
I am sending an email to CVS corporate tomorrow.

First of all thanks so much for posting about this. I have being doing it for about 3 weeks on my phone (my account) and my husbands Ipad (his account). I haven't cashed in yet, but have over 50,000 on each account!

2 questions for anyone that may know:

Has anyone used the CVS reward to purchase (restaurant or other) gift cards at a CVS store yet?

Has anyone used the Bestbuy reward to purchase any other gift cards besides amazon kindle cards? I don't know that they have other cards but assume like most large stores that they would.

We are saving for a trip to the beach this summer (no Disney this year :sad1:) So I'm trying to get gift cards for restaurants or gas or just visa gift cards. Just anything to save for vacation. We aren't big Starbucks drinkers and don't do Burger King. I'm going to do enough Chili's for a couple meals - we really love chili's so that would be ok. If anyone has ideas for ways to get anything different I appreciate advice!
