On Viggle's FB page someone posted about Shopkick app. What is this?

OMG Shopkick is great. Harder to earn points but they do add up quick, plus the have store coupons on your phone that you do not get anywhere else. Really nice for Target. You check in when you are at places Plus if you scan items at certain stores Target, Walmart, Best Buy you get more points. They have lots of things to remdem your points for.

You need this app too! One of my all favs.

I was so mad we picked Dale Jr. (2nd place) but we almost picked Matt(hometown boy) I should have known better

Anyone else get kicked out of the app and not able to get back in? I know my password for sure and it says that it is wrong. I have also tried to click on the "forgot your password?" link and get them to reset it but there is no response!

I am feeling really frustrated today after using it all day yesterday (including watching the Daytona 500 and doing trivia) and now not being able to get back in. I don't want to set up a new account because I had over 8000 points from just yesterday.

I do Shopkick as well, but not as much. I try to remember it or do it at the stores I'm in already. I figure it might take me a few months to get $5 but it's free too!

While we're on this subject - are you guys aware of FieldAgent? It's another good one that I know works and they pay directly to your PayPal account. Usually it involves taking pictures, answering questions, and sending back to them. They can be picky but I don't find it too challenging. I will say, I don't find too many I can do because I don't just drop everything and head across town for $5 but I try and check it before running errands. Not too long ago I had a Target one for the Disney movies that I made $5.50 on it took me maybe 2 mins of my time while I was already there.

Try logging in again, just to make sure. If you still can't get in, try sending them an e-mail. You might get faster response than just pressing a button to reset your password. At least through e-mail someone will look into the situation....may not have anything to do with needing a new password. Perhaps they accidently froze your account for no reason. It has happened to a few people, and Viggle got their accounts up and running in no time.

8,000+ points is a lot to throw away, so try to save your account if you can!

Thanks! I have tried re-typing my password several times without luck. I also tried to do the reset password but haven't gotten the instructions to reset the password. I have now also sent an e-mail so I hope that I hear back from them.

It is kind of a bummer though.

Has anyone here tried to redeem any rewards today?

I was going through Viggle's FB page and noticed that a couple Viggle members said they are getting an error #2045 when trying to redeem a reward. They mention that error means Viggle flagged they're accounts as fraudulent...

Obviously I'd have no idea whether this is true or not....I haven't tried to redeem any awards since the Viggle Live Events. Did Viggle forget to increase the points limit, (and therefore accounts flagged)? Or maybe some people took advantage of the increased limit (on Sunday) and played the ads/trailers more than they should have?

Hummm, very weird. Just an FYI to keep a look out for that error, I guess.

I just heard about Field Agent today. I am going to have to try this one. So they just want you to take pictures of items at the store???

There are sometimes a few questions you have to answer about a display/location/availability of the product, but the jobs are VERY easy to do.

The only downside to the app is that you only have 2 hours to complete a job. I usually only check it if I'm bored and I'm looking for something to do, or if I'm going to be out already running errands and might have time to squeeze in a couple of jobs.

They do pay very quickly, usually about 30 minutes after you do a job, the money is available for withdrawal into your Paypal account.

I do love FA, and would recommend it to anyone! That is, anyone not in my area that I would be competing for jobs with!

Thanks for the info! I just downloaded shopkick...can't wait to use it!

As for the field agent app, I don't think this will work for me. DH and I only have one car between us, so it's not feasible for me to drive somewhere on a whim.

Thanks for sharing this. I started on Friday and we now have over 21000 points on 3 of our 4 devices. I started to get paranoid after reading about the problems and decided to print out some Hollywood movie money. I did so with no problems at all, I am happy to report. It is actuall a good value since you can use them at any movie value up to $13.00 for just 8000 points.

I would rather have target though and am going to hang tight with the rest of my points.

I just redeemed for the 8000 point movie ticket too. If you want to see what theaters you can use it at, go to www.hollywoodmoviemoney.com and enter promo code 38504. It asked me to pick a theater before I printed it, but I don't see where it printed the theater name anywhere on the certificate I printed.

I did have one problem. It told me I had to update my profile in order to redeem the rewards, but it wouldn't let me enter my birthdate. I tried a bunch of times with no luck. I finally tried just entering yesterday's date and that worked. I did email them, so we'll see what they say.

Update - I just went to the app store and found an update for Viggle that fixes the birthdate problem. I downloaded it and was able to enter my birthdate fine.

I'm so sorry....my intention was not to freak everyone out. Those were only 2 people out of thousands of Viggle users who posted that on FB. Save your points and don't redeem until there's something you really want.

And if anyone gets that error, don't get mad and start yelling at Viggle. For all you know, you could get that error by mistake. (That has happened to a few people.)

Keep having fun with Viggle and if you have any problems, always contact Viggle.

But no reason to worry until there is something to worry about.

I was so tempted to do this, what a great deal! But I'm trying to do all Target GCs to buy Disney World GCs. Only problem is Viggle's inconsistentcy to keep the Target cards stocked.

If the Target cards don't come back, then I'll probably start redeeming for other stuff. But I'll wait a few more weeks....

I think the movie tics at 8,000 points ends either today or tomorrow. That's the day Viggle switches out the "Deal of Week."
