Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

I gave up on waiting for Target to come back. I cashed out for Best Buy then got a Visa Pre-paid debit card for gas for our trip down. I paid a 4.95 fee though, but I figured that wasn't a bad deal for $50 worth of gas for our trip.

I just checked out Amazon though and they have loads of gift cards, from Subway to Rainforest Cafe for some easy dining options while in the WDW area. They also offer Jiffy Lube cards, if you need an oil change before the trip and pre-paid AmEx cards if you want those for gas. I haven't tried to use an Amazon card to buy other cards but I have applied an Amazon card to my Amazon account and it appears that it would work.

Some people earlier used the Best Buy cards to get Visa cards, there is a small fee involved but that might be an option for gas and even food other than Burger King.

Do u happen to know if I can stack the best buy cards to get one visa card of a higher amount to avoid more than one charge?

I did try to use an amazon card to get a rainforest cafe gift card and it wouldn't let me :( Unfortunately amazon won't let u use a amazon gift card to buy any of the gift cards they have on their site :( booooo

So from your post I'm thinking you were able to stack 2 bb card for one visa? If so That's good news for me!!!! I guess bb is the way to go!!

Also wondering if anyone has had any luck with adding their bb gift cards from viggle to a pitch in card then cashing out for one visa card ?

Be careful though, when you swipe a card outside at a gas station there is a hold put on funds. My husband used a prepeaid visa card to buy gas, he spent less than the gas station holds to verify funds. Left there went to another store thinking he had spent x amount of money when the gas station had held twice that amount and the card was denied. It took about 48 hours for the money to be released. We generally use cash, so this may not be typical, just wanted you to know what happened to us.

Yup! I used 2 Viggle cards and 2 Best Buy store cards. I paid for the visa, a car charger for my phone and the fee and paid $0 out of pocket. The cashier didn;t even blink, just asked if I wanted her to throw out the printed copies for me. (I also got Best Buy rewards points for my transaction)

Thanks for the heads up :thumbsup2 I figure I will be using $50 or more at a fill-up anyway. But it's good to know in case I get some more.

Run you finger (flick it) across the screen right before you think you should, that is how it worked for me.

Wait for the box to turn orange and then run your finger up the screen hard and fast.

Does anyone know if you can use the JCPenney giftcards at the Sephora store inside JCPenney? Sephora GC's are no longer available and was unsure if they are considered 2 different companies.

Thanks!

I deleted the app this morning. Initially the earning opportunities were frequent and I didn't have any trouble with the app. Gift cards were 9000 points for $5 of value and it did not take long to get 9000. Now, it seems a lot harder to find ads, they are not worth as much, and the gift cards "cost" more points. It reached that sweet spot for me that it was no longer worth my time.

Sephora has an online forum board, "Beauty Talk", and an old thread said yes, that you can use JC Penny gift cards at Sephora stores that are located inside JC Penny. The thread was dated April 2011, but it sounds promising nonetheless! :thumbsup2

I've been using viggle for about 2 months and cashing in for chilis cards because that is the only gift I will really use. But reading some of the comments on here, I hear people talking about stacking? And prepaid visa cards? This is something I would like some more info on. Where can I find the answers?
thanks

Some of the gift cards are stackable where you can use more than one gift card at a time. I know Best Buy, CVS, Barnes and Noble, JC Penney, Amazon, are stackable, Sephora you can only stack 3.

Some people have taken Best Buy cards and purchased Visa gift cards. There is a small fee with the Visa cards but it's onle a couple dollars.
