Viewing MVMCP parade from Town Square???

Headed to WDW this Thursday and attending the MVMCP with my 3, 4, and 7 yo kids. I don't think we can count on making it to the 2nd parade so I am feeling nervous about the crowds for the 1st parade. I was considering watching the castle lighting at 6:15 and then making our way back to Town Square to watch the 1st parade? Not sure if this is a good plan (is Main Street so packed that it will be hard to navigate back to Town Square???). Our kids are too little/impatient to stake out a spot for too long so trying to get the best strategy here! Any advice/tips are very much appreciated!!!

1. Count on it.

2. Look for a spot near the Barbershop or Firehouse.

(Remember, you won't be able to see the Fireworks from there.)
