Many DCL/blogs reported yesterday that the tv channels and VOD options aboard Wish are now available on personal devices as long as they are connected to the ship’s wifi :

As some bloggers mentioned, this will alleviate in part the frequent complaint that the stateroom tv’s are bolted to the wall instead of being mounted on an articulated arm. It also means that you can watch a Mickey cartoon or a Marvel movie while seated in a public space.

I am curious to test this out. I will say I have some concerns about the wifi on the ship's ability to actually support this as we've found it spotty in the past. Time will tell!

I've never been on Wish, but on the other ships, I've never found the wifi to be spotty but rather the satellite internet connection was often slow to the point of being unusable. In this case, all the data traffic will be inside the ship, so the internet connection will not be involved.

I've had spotty issues with the ship wifi on the Magic for sure. One cruise I could not access anything in the DCL app inside my stateroom. It was a complete dead zone. No browsing the activities, no getting messages in the app, nothing. Had to step out of the room. Not the Wish, but if this rolls out to other ships you'd hope they'd fix any issues with connectivity.

My wife said she saw a post on FB that they've started adding articulating arms to the TV's on the WISH. :confused3
